MAZIDO Completes the Second Phase of OCA for Taita and Kasigau Ranch
MAZIDO has concluded the second phase of Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and improvement training for Taita Ranches, focused on an Institutional Improvement Plan (IIP) for Taita and Kasigau Ranches. The training identified gaps and intervention methods, producing a Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Learning (MERL) framework with intervention measures for each identified gap.
Board directors of both ranches commended MAZIDO for its way of imparting knowledge on unfamiliar areas, and noted they are honored to be the only ranches selected by the African Wildlife Foundation in the Tsavo landscape. The training was led by MAZIDO Executive Director John Mlamba and permanent consultant Rhoda Mwashigadi; the one-year project is fully funded by the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF).
