MAZIDO has concluded the second phase of Organization Capacity Assessment (OCA) and improvement training for Taita Ranches. The training focused on Institutional Improvement Plan (IIP) for Taita and Kasigau Ranches. The overall aim of the training was to point out the gaps and intervention methods. The end result of the training is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Learning (MERL) framework that points out intervention measures for each identified gap.

Board directors of Taita and Kasigau Ranches have commented MAZIDO for its exemplary way of imparting knowledge on areas that were new to them. They are also honored to be the only select ranches chosen by African Wildlife Foundation in the whole Tsavo landscape.

The training was led by MAZIDO International Executive Director Mr. John Mlamba and Rhoda Mwashigadi who is a permanent consultant for MAZIDO. The one-year-long project is fully funded by African Wildlife Foundation (AWF).
